Zemog’s Bajo Bajo Conga explores improvised Latin rhythms and Latin anti-rhythms with the awkwardness and beauty of two basses with it’s cousin, the congas. Featuring members of the Avant-Latin Roots, 11 piece group, Zemog El Gallo Bueno, featuring bass players Alvaro Benavides (Pedrito Martinez Group) and Chris Stromquist (Slavic Soul Party) , with Abraham Gomez-Delgado on congas.
Michaël Attias in a rare solo alto saxophone performance, and those interplanetary evangelists, Gospel of Mars, featuring Jef Brown sax / guitar, Bob Jones double bass, and Aaron Moore drums.
